Mirroring Minjerribah

EVENING EXHIBITION: Thursday 5th October | 6:00 - 9:30pm

Presenting the work of sixteen Brisbane artists, Mirroring Minjerribah is an exhibition that
brings the stories and landscape of Minjerribah / North Stradbroke Island into focus
though photographic projections and prints coupled with a live music performance.

This one-night-only event features site-specific work by emerging artists from Griffith
University’s Queensland College of Art and Queensland Conservatorium of Music.
Drawing from a six-day residency on Minjerribah each work offers a unique perspective
and artistic response, reflecting on the rich landscape and myriad stories of the island
and its people.

Doors open at 6PM with projections and performances commencing 6:30PM. Prints will be available to view until 9:30PM.
