We live in the age of the disposable selfie, yet there is something still timeless about someone expressing themselves artistically to create their own self-portrait.

Ray Pollock is an award winning local artist who’s style has been described as ‘abstract expressionism’ with the use of ‘action and drip’ techniques.

It takes several days or even weeks, for Ray to complete each painting. He uses colour and movement to depict his mood and will return to the piece intermittently to capture his changing emotional state on the canvas. Ray uses his art as a way to communicate his thoughts, in place of spoken words.  

As well as private sales, Ray’s art has also been commissioned for use in marketing materials and greeting cards.

Miniatures From Afar is Moozhan Kheiri's first solo exhibition showcasing work that explores her position as a young artist in the contemporary Iranian art scene.

The Celebration of the Female Form showcases professional and emerging artists alike who put their own spin on honouring goddesses the world all over, the bearers of the female form.
