Enduring Jugglers Exhibition Flyer.jpg

EXHIBITION: Thursday 17th May | 6-9pm in the DOWNSTAIRS gallery

The exhibition titled Enduring will pay homage to the Jugglers Arts Space with both audio and moving image based projections and static digitally manipulated images exploring the field of experimental photography.  The contrasting exhibition spaces provided by Jugglers have been venues for ground roots artistic access over the last 16 years. Jugglers has been an inspirational launch pad for local, national and international artists. Kelvin Grove State College is proud to create a reflective exhibition to mark this enduring legacy.

Ray Pollock

Ray Pollock is an award winning local artist who’s style has been described as ‘abstract expressionism’ with the use of ‘action and drip’ techniques.

It takes several days or even weeks, for Ray to complete each painting. He uses colour and movement to depict his mood and will return to the piece intermittently to capture his changing emotional state on the canvas. Ray uses his art as a way to communicate his thoughts, in place of spoken words.

As well as private sales, Ray’s art has also been commissioned for use in marketing materials and greeting cards.
