CRT Designs is a visual artist based on the Gold Coast. Inspired by the Melbourne laneway graffiti, renaissance religious icons, and the busy energy of her birthplace Sydney. CRT pushes boundaries and breaks the rules.
Her painting practice is heavily influenced by popular music, street culture, vintage advertisement, urban aesthetics, underground zines, pin-up girls, pop and graffiti art. Connecting the contemporary world with bygone eras, with heavy references to the 70s and 80s. CRT weaves song lyrics, motifs and icons onto multi-layered and colourful surfaces. A Billionaires Guide to Immortality Exhibition at Jugglers Art Space will be showcasing CRT’s never before seen collection.
