In an attempt to obtain eternal immortality, Jackie Case places small marks on tiny little pieces of paper. Her work is in essence an exercise in pure narrative.
From humble beginnings in local Melbourne cafés to international exhibitions including Canada, France, Britain, Singapore, Hong Kong, all across the United States including her solo gallery exhibition in New York and most recently her sell out at Art on Paper New York. Case’s work is inviting, witty, often humorous and sublimely detailed.
Case is exhibiting for the first time in Brisbane by exploring a new narrative as she invites you into her ‘obscure’ little world; a place of pure whimsy and delight.
