Major Prize Winner, William Platz, “Puppets with Charcoal”

The major prize winners of the 2017 Marie Ellis OAM Prize for Drawing have been announced at the opening of the Finalists Exhibition at Jugglers Art Space. 

  • Congratulations go to the Major Prize Winner, William Platz, for his work “Puppets with Charcoal.”
  • The Honourable Mention Prize was awarded to Andrew Stattmann for his work “Power lines, trees and shrubbery.”
  • This year’s Director’s Encouragement Award was presented to Georgia Grier for “Conformity.”

The Finalists Exhibition remains open until the 26th August. Remember to vote for your favourite work in the People’s Choice Award, which will be announced at the closing event on Friday 25th August.
